Santrua is proud to announce the signing of a significant supply agreement for 50,000 STS prepaid smart water meter modules with a leading water meter manufacturer in Egypt. This milestone order reflects the growing international demand for secure, flexible, and remotely readable smart metering solutions.
✅ 1. STS Prepaid Solution with CIU and Java Card
All meters in this project are equipped with STS-compliant prepaid technology, offering secure token-based recharge through Customer Interface Units (CIUs) or Java cards. These payment methods are well-suited for utility companies operating under prepaid, credit-limited, or flexible billing environments.
✅ 2. M-Bus Remote Reading Integration
To meet the needs of modern utility networks, each smart meter supports M-Bus remote reading, enabling seamless integration into AMI and AMR systems for real-time consumption tracking, remote disconnection, and data management.
✅ 3. Supporting Smart Water Infrastructure in MENA
This project strengthens Santrua's presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and highlights the company's capability to deliver scalable, standards-based smart water metering systems to international partners.
